Client Integrity Risk Training (CIRT) for client-facing staff

Business Case
An international Dutch bank is under increasing pressure to ensure that all of its client-facing employees receive proper compliance training. The program, which will be delivered by experienced trainers, must be designed to provide a clear understanding of the regulatory requirements and best practices. This investment in the bank’s future will ensure regulatory compliance, protect the bank from potential penalties and reputational damage, and improve the bank’s overall compliance culture and awareness.
The bank wants to properly train their client-facing staff on compliance issues, and other regulatory requirements relevant to their roles and responsibilities. This, however, necessitates significant resources and specialized expertise in compliance training, which the bank may find difficult to provide in-house.
Following several interviews with the Compliance Department to discuss their needs, questions, and goals, we agreed that Simon Consulting would create a custom training program for all of the bank’s client-facing staff.
As part of the academy’s bank-wide training curriculum, we developed a completely new training course for client-facing staff. This course was divided into two modules: e-learning with video lectures and virtual classroom training. We orchestrated the training pilot in December 2021 and trained the bank’s trainers. According to the most recent update, thousands of employees have completed the training course.
